Cons

As a driver an all the companies that don't want to pay a driver they took all those companies an put them into one big company CPC witch is a temporary service....if u want to run none stop an I mean non stop ....bye all those companies being one an not many driver's they expect that truck to move 24 hrs a day ....an that lie about getting u home no no an when you start bringing it to there attention they will fire u what they expect out of a driver is physically impossible an they pay u but trystvur gona pay for everything out there on that road retaining to that truck

CPC Logistics Response

CPC Logistics has been in service since 1973. Currently we employ close to 4,000 drivers. Our goal is to keep drivers safe and to make sure driver concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. We are not a temporary service and we will never have a driver violate DOT Hours of Service Regulations.

Pros

At CPC, drivers are compensated for every minute of on-duty time. With time and a half for anything over eight hours. Weekly paychecks usually have a healthy amount of overtime. CPC is one of the largest providers of private fleet service drivers in the US. A majority of our 3,500 plus drivers are career professionals who can do what it takes to accomplish our 24x7x365 mission: deliver freight on time, safely. When you have a large team/family like this you feel certain you can accomplish anything and when you have easy access to your chain of command all the way up to the president of the company you feel supported. You might find higher pay elsewhere but you won't find the care and support for your well-being and family life like you will here.

Cons

It can be tough to schedule off duty activities and appointments. Loads are reliant on multiple team members from loading at the warehouse to relays bringing your trailer to you. Weather and breakdowns can affect everyone's schedules - you have to be flexible. Hopefully you have family and friends who understand.
