Pros

None, the cons far overshadow the benefits. If you desperately need a job to pay the bills, do yourself a favor and keep this as the last possible option.

Cons

Political, lies, CYA attitude, incredibly high turnover from shop floor to president, laziness, finger-pointing and focus on presenting a problem over a solution. Clueless HR with lack of professional conduct and blatant favoritism. Advancement for those who only wish to bootlick and feather their own nest by maligning hard-working employees. There is no opportunity for self improvement, those who are talented shortly leave for better ventures. Massive problems go unfixed, unnoticed, and ignored. Company feels as if they are consolidating and solely investing in a handful of plants around the country while others remain in a severe state of disrepair. Employees do not receive proper performance reviews, most of them pencil whipped. No care for employee health and safety, with the overall motto being based off a numbers game - no focus on facilities maintenance or management.

Pros

Overall, it’s a really good company—probably some of the best benefits in the industry, and that’s one of the main reasons I chose to work here.

Cons

My advice to anyone considering it: be careful about the promises you’re made during the hiring process. Make sure everything is put in writing, and make sure it’s exact—your position, job description, responsibilities, and what is expected of you. Things can change. If the person who hired you leaves or moves on, the person who replaces them may see things differently and change everything. That can include doing away with the position you were hired for and moving you into a completely different role—one you may have never left your previous job to take in the first place.
