Pros

Strong company that has structure and determination to win but now looks like there might be room for mid level managers to grow from within the ranks. The pay and benefits were fair. I was allowed to spend most of my time building a safe and successful facility with company support. I was given an opportunity to run the plant like an antrupanore.

Cons

The lack of confidence and level of sneakiness from higher was enough to make me just pick up and go. Micro management and rough handing competent people is what it felt like. Nobody knows how to conduct a performance evaluation with managers who deserve to be reviewed. Favoritism and good old boy club is in now a days apparently. Team disruption from operations proved to be a lack of confidence in a proven team time and time again and that seems to still exist at the moment.

Pros

Overall, it’s a really good company—probably some of the best benefits in the industry, and that’s one of the main reasons I chose to work here.

Cons

My advice to anyone considering it: be careful about the promises you’re made during the hiring process. Make sure everything is put in writing, and make sure it’s exact—your position, job description, responsibilities, and what is expected of you. Things can change. If the person who hired you leaves or moves on, the person who replaces them may see things differently and change everything. That can include doing away with the position you were hired for and moving you into a completely different role—one you may have never left your previous job to take in the first place.
