Pros

Good pay. lovely ladies at training.

Cons

Disorganized. Horrible at communication. The interview was painful and it seemed they forgot previous conversations as was asked the same question repeatedly over three-four phone calls - the lady was persistent and impatient when it came to waiting for my references to ring her back. After being hired the Manager gave me a lecture on having to be available at least 3 days a week because of how busy they were and then after training never gave me a single shift on the website or responded to messages. Gave up after a week and got another job. Two months after that they put my on a shift but no-one rang me to tell me. Four months after that I was rung again asking if I still wanted to work and I said I couldnt because I was working elsewhere. Then another month after that had to manager ring to double check if I still wanted to work there.

Pros

It pains me not to give a higher rating!! I absolutely love this kind of work. It's super flexible on days & hours you can work. It's total independence out in the field. I'm always by myself. I love using my attention to detail & having some creative freedom with certain displays. Pay is better than most. Managers are willing to work with you if they see you are doing what you can on your end.

Cons

I've had 6 Managers over the course of the three years I've been there. Only one of which I've met face to face. No pay raise, but I'm also part time. When I needed hours my first year, there were none to be given. Now that I have a second job, a year later, there are all kinds of hours available. I've had points taken off of my overall employee rating from stores in locations that I never agreed to work & never stepped foot in. The travel pay isn't worth it to me. I said $14/hr, but it's different than a normal hourly job. You have weekly tickets or Service Orders & they give you a window of time they want it completed. If you know you'll have to go over, you can contact them. For the most part, you're not gonna get much more than what's been estimated though. I feel like I always end up actually working more than I'm able to claim. That's more my fault though & many people do NOT do that. Another con is occasional attitude from management at new stores. When you visit a location for the first time & they are not familiar with you, sometimes they let it be known that they're suspicious of you. And if that particular Service Order didn't provide a LOA or more in-depth details, then it can put you on the spot & be embarrassing.
