Pros
Beautiful campus, covered parking, cafeteria on site, close to other retail and restaurants. Very short commute for me.
Cons
This was the coldest and meanest place I've ever worked. Miserable experience. I think the experience is directly related to your manager and my manager was a nightmare. I think the CEO is good and maybe next level (VP) but after that all bets are off. There is a lot of turnover either because of layoffs or people escaping as soon as possible. I had 3 managers in 1 year. My managers were micro-managers who stalked me. I would sit at my desk and notice them walking by and wonder if they were going to stop in to talk to me. Never did. They were just checking to see if I was at my desk. Incredible. They track people using the Skype app and it was constant monitoring. It isn't because I was a slacker as I worked long hours. Zero flexibility for me although I saw people all around me who had a better situation. As a new employee, no one spoke to me. It was amazing. I would go weeks without an in-person conversation. My client was located in another state but internally no one talked to me. I tried to break into some of the cliques and nothing. Our team had a 30 min touchbase 3 times a week with the manager who had nothing to do with our projects. It was all just for checking up on us. Nothing genuine or even interest in our work. A colleague started months after I did and she walked out because she saw how I was treated and didn't think that was a place she wanted to work. Everyone keeps their head down and stays to themselves. There is a lot of work so there is no time to socialize. Pay is extremely low. Get your experience and move on.
