Pros
They did pay me well for what I was doing. Started at $52,250 and received a merit 3% raise annually besides during Covid where all raises were paused and the 401k match was canceled through 2020 (March-Dec.). The company is doing just fine, but could be so, SO much better if they just used their brain and got with the 21st century. Gotta say, work-life balance was legit. 8-5 and home on time nearly every day. Not much work on nights and weekends which is abnormal for trucking.
Cons
A manager who lost 3 team members in the span of 1 month is still in the same position and nothing changes when things aren't working. Too old school. Employees who have been there for 15, 20, 30+ years are all over and VERY unwilling to adapt and learn new things. "This is the way we have always done it" should be the company motto.
