Pros

This was my first job involving insurance and a lot of the time, it didn’t seem like consumers were top priority. When prices would rise, they would tell us to say, “we’re due for an increase.” There wasn’t much wiggle room to satisfy the consumer. Then those consumers get angry, and take it out on you. It was just too stressful and nothing made it worth it.

Cons

I didn’t notice a lot of opportunities for progression in the company. My customer survey average was high consistently and all it got me was paper certificates that were put in the trash
