Pros

Our site has minimal interaction with the actual CSC managers (we are on customer premises). Flexible schedule (due to customer appreciation, best not to tell CSC managers about this). Roughly comparable benefits to many similar companies in terms of health insurance, time off, etc. Paid Sick Leave - good since not all companies offer this. Some improvements to company intranet. Back-office admin staff are good (for us at least). Company name isn't bad, good if you need some brand-name recognition.

Cons

Management is totally useless. Compensation is not great. Managers have little interest in employee retention, if you tell them about an offer from elsewhere they basically pat you on the back and wave goodbye. Management is very lousy at communication, and engages in borderline unethical conduct. No culture of loyalty to the company, it's "just a paycheck". Training is theoretically available, but very difficult to actually get approved; so a lot of the training opportunities that look good on paper will probably only get approved if the customer demands it. Little to no feedback from management unless you screw up - then you'll definitely hear about it. And your mistakes are generally on some trivial administrative detail in some useless or poorly thought out performance report that disappears into a black hole of zero feedback (unless you make a mundane error). Just.. terrible management, cannot emphasize how useless they are. It's not so much that they're BAD as they are just.. useless. Most do not understand what their job as a manager is and do not understand part of their job is to maintain employee morale, etc. Many of the people they hire.. honestly where do they find these people?

Pros

Good benefits including 401(k) with company match.

Cons

Unrealistic workload. The pay does not match the amount of stress that comes from the amount of work given. They are hiring new employees for the same role offering about $30k-$40k more than they pay those who have been there for years instead of compensating current employees fairly. Management is out of touch. They are so focused on numbers that they cannot clearly see the internal issues that are compromising relationships with customers.
