Pros
Good communication of policy and announcement. Some internal training is avaialable, CBT etc. Reasonable health benefits, dental is good, vision good, 401K match of 3%. Large customer base allows employees to move between locations if positions are available.
Cons
CSC's America Outsource group policy for FY10 requires 2050 to 2080 billable hours. 2080 is 40 hours times 52 weeks. Examples of non-billable hours that need to be made up are vacation, holidays, sick time, training and internal CSC meeting. Essential they have effectively taken away paid vacation, holidays and sick time. Hours are tracked per employee and calls from upper management are made to employees that are not keeping up their average. At the same time they have reduced the maximum vacation accrual to 1 year's worth starting 7/1/10.
