Pros
In my group there is a lot of flexibility on work hours and ability to work remotely. I am not pressured to work 9-5 in the office. If I want to work 7-3, I could. I am able to work remotely when needed and there if a good work/life balance.
Cons
The salaries are far below the industry/state averages. It is a HIGHLY matrixed organization. Severe lack of raises, bonuses, or employee recognition The company executives only care about one things...themselves Constant change and always wondering if you are next on the RIF list The front door of the Falls Church office is a revolving door. There is always a constant "changing of the guards" which makes it very difficult to have any type of long term structure. Every change of management brings change in ideals which means a change in how the business operates. There is NO standardization! There is a lack of innovation and technology available to employees. We use homegrown antiquated applications and "left over" equipment for employees. It is a constant battle to get work done.
