Pros
Friendly staff (and felt supported!!), my department genuinely cared about the wellbeing of the students, comparable pay for adjunct, decent facilities, I was able to share an actual office rather than a cubical (it's the small things), the department manager I worked with in the CAS department was absolutely amazing (she has retired), *most of the students seem to want to learn
Cons
Unless you are teaching a very early or late class, parking stinks. Teachers should be compensated more when they are also responsible for labs
