Pros

As a part-time copywriter who makes their own hours, CT has offered a ton of flexibility for me. My part-time employment set up allowed me to complete my Masters while bringing in small amounts every month. They have a bi-monthly payment schedule, with assignments graded against a set of KPIs, at least for contractors and part-time/freelance employees. I was able to take several periods of time off for exams and academic pursuits, no questions asked. Overall a great experience working here.

Cons

The duration for a pay raise for a freelance/part-time employee may be too long since it's quantified in terms of a certain number of pages you've written going live on client websites, and not a fixed period of time working with the company. While this is a wonderful parameter for a pay bump, it also has a downside for those taking on small amounts of work at a time as they may take longer to meet that quota of live pages.

Thank you for your feedback. Different copywriters will achieve different paces of pay growth, depending on their volume of projects assigned. Building a strong rapport with some of our copy strategists and editors, especially in more challenging categories, is a good way to accelerate towards the next pay tiers.

Pros

- Good pay - Team is great - Excellent organization

Cons

- Time tracking software is very invasive (screenshots every 5 to 10 min, mouse and keyboard tracking, camera must always be on while on work hours) - KPIs can be too demanding - Workload can be too heavy (I was managing around 15 accounts at one point)
