Pros
8116 S Las Vegas blvd •The team at my store for the most part was very cooperative and worked well together • My store manager tries her hardest to go above and beyond when it comes to her employees •pay was decent Hours are good based on your availability
Cons
•High turnover rate •Corporate Management does NOT care about anyone at store level. All they care about is sales. •constantly at risk of robberies, theft, physical and verbal violence due to corporate’s refusal to provide security • personally I was always anxious to be in the store after the sun goes down •multiple car break ins in parking lot for employees AND customers •only given enough hours to have 2 people each shift •never praised by corporate, ALWAYS judged and unappreciated •District leader Andrea (Las Vegas) does not care about her store managers’ well being. Very condescending and rude. Doesn’t bother to get to know team members or care about their experiences working with CVS •Multiple robberies occur minutes apart and corporate cares more about sales than any employee’s safety •overworked and underpaid, including managers. •always went into work dreading the day and counting the minutes until the end of my shift. •stress levels high from corporate pressure •strict when it comes to small things such as dress code yet nothings done to protect your employees •high prices •forced to push the Carepass on customers and have them use self checkouts without a choice, store associates get reprimanded for using the cash registers •very slow maintenance repairs no matter the reason (for example out front door was broken for months) •almost everything in the store is locked up due to high theft and no security, thus requiring associates to run around unlocking product while being expected to manage the front checkout at the same time
