Pros
Lots of benefits but better if you work for CVS corporate or Aetna vs Minute Clinic. Stock options not available for Minute Clinic staff.
Cons
No holiday pay, no paid CE days-they took them away. If your clinic is closed you have to use PTO to make up time to qualify for benefits. PTO accruals changed and are less than when you started. On call used to be every 8 weeks now it's 2 shifts every 6 which becomes every 3 weeks. On call used to staff clinics when staff on PTO vs for people needing to call in sick. Volunteering for extra duties doesn't not equate to monetary compensation nor admin time.
