Pros

The two things I liked about CWS were the way they manage career apparel (you get gift cards to spend at approved retailers), and their employee appreciation day.

Cons

- WAY to clique-y. Regional Director was personal friends with some of the Community Directors and it showed through preferential treatment. I believe that upper level management knew this, but did not see a problem with it. - Lots and lots of drama. They seemed to thrive on it. Personal feelings had way too much influence on professional decisions. - They like to do everything the hard way. Processes and procedures were cumbersome and inefficient. - Training was extremely boring and did not engage or excite. The trainers were both condescending. - Upper level management feigned support for onsite teams but you could tell that at the end of the day they only had their best interest at heart. - Medical benefits were so expensive they were unaffordable. Then I ended up with a penalty at tax time for not having insurance.

Supportive team environment with great training and onboarding. Strong company culture that focuses on resident experience and employee development. Competitive benefits, housing discounts, and opportunities to grow within the company. Management is generally approachable and encourages professional growth.

Cons

Workload and expectations can be high at times, especially during busy seasons. Growth opportunities may feel limited depending on location or leadership. Some inconsistency in communication from upper management.
