Pros

$1000 video shop bonus, $500 Apparel Card (we pay for the other half), nice accommodations while in training in Austin

Cons

Where do I begin: -Overworked for little to no pay (slavery) -While you are stuck working EVERY Saturday- whether you are scheduled or SHORT STAFFED (which is all the time) you are NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE OFF A MONDAY to at least enjoy 2 full days off -Office is NEVER allowed to close- Not for team meetings, team lunches or gatherings -No team or company functions -They ask you to host resident events, however community directors are never present -High employee turnover (SAYS A LOT when long term employees leave) -Training is a joke. If you are new to the industry, you would be lost in their training held in Austin -They do NOT promote from within

At CWS Apartment Homes, we value each one of our associates. Including our onsite personnel, we understand they are in the field working hard every day! Leasing Consultants truly are the “face” for new customers walking in the door as well as our existing customers. Please know that we thank you for all the hard work and Saturdays you have put in, hard work in our organization does not go unnoticed. We do keep regular business office hours for our residents Monday through Saturday and Sunday offices are closed. This 6-day schedule is an area that makes us unique in our industry, as many management companies remain open on Sundays. CWS Apartment Homes observes all major holidays so that our associates can spend time with family. There are company sponsored “Fun Days” by region to reward our team for hard work. Additionally, once you have earned vacation time you may request time off 30 days before the event occurs. Regarding training we feel that we have a very robust curriculum for each associate. We are so dedicated to supporting all associates through training that we pay for their travel, hotel, and meal expense for a week upon being newly hired with us. As always, we strongly encourage our associates to reach out to the leadership within our organization to discuss anything they are frustrated or upset with. We are committed to being an employer of choice.

Competitive benefits, housing discounts, and opportunities to grow within the company. Management is generally approachable and encourages professional growth.

Cons

Workload and expectations can be high at times, especially during busy seasons. Growth opportunities may feel limited depending on location or leadership. Some inconsistency in communication from upper management.
