Pros

Summers off, state benefits, 30 years till retirement

Cons

Have to work summers because you don't get paid during the summer months. We get state benefits that we still have to pay for. You can retire in 30 years, but who can make it more than 5 without dying of exhaustion and mental health issues.

Depending on the school, the staff is friendly. The district provides great professional development opportunities
