Pros
You get a good discount and there are some employees who range from barable to likeable. Every once in a while, you get truly great customers.
Cons
Management is awful and picks favourites like crazy. If you haven't been there since the store open then you're irrelevant. Good luck if you have vacation time you need, because you'll somehow get either fired or trouble for it. Also, if you call in sick, everyone will complain and start rumours, and then proceed to miss two shifts in a row and call in sick on their next and expect you to be fine with it. If you get signed to a contract, expect to not get extended in favour of people who miss multiple shifts and are consistently late, all because of the reasons I've mentioned previously. If you have the best numbers in your department and decide to go on vacation, or if you happen to be sick, expect everyone, including management, to start talking behind your back. Expect to be understaffed at every moment of the day and if you call for help, don't expect to get an answer until the 10th time. Don't expect to hold a conversation with anyone in the store unless you know the exact coordinates of where to fish for walleye. Expect the typical customers who think the government's tracking them when you ask for postal codes and don't donate a penny for a good cause. You'll get customers who are as rude as can be and get mad at you for doing your job, you'll even have some cases where they get mad and cuss at you because you're helping out another customer and not them. I've seen upset customers before, but nothing compared to some of the people I've had the displeasure of dealing with here. All in all, just an awful experience and if I stop even one person from applying there, then this review will have done its job.
