Pros
The majority of the staff are friendly, fun-loving and easy to talk to. The company also has detailed policies and procedures that clarify each employee's duties and responsibilities. They offer some benefits to some employees, including medical, dental and education.
Cons
The culture skews very strongly towards sexism, or at the very least valuing women for their looks first . There were very few instances where I was praised for anything other than my hair, makeup or clothing choices. This was my observation for other women, as well. Men definitely had an easier time advancing, and could get away with blatant disrespect and denegration of women and minorities with nary a batted eyelash. I also made clear my expectations for the role I had in terms of growth, hours and money, to which the hiring manager agreed. None of these conditions were met easily, if at all.
