Pros
The company respects it's employees like no other. Cadence allows very good work-life ballance. You are allowed to work one day a week from home, and generally you and your needs are important to the management. Cadence is a very innovative company, and you're likely to be working on (and expected to create) some very cool technologies.
Cons
- Competition is tought. - The EDA (Electronic Design Automation) means nothing to most software engineers, and its hard to master understanding of the domain. - Its a big company, and some processes move slowly. - If you plan your career by buzz-words, most of the teams don't do them...
