Pros
This fantastic nationally known brand made selling easy to out of towners new to Austin who had worked with CC before at other locations. The showroom is beautiful, the product is amazing, the 3-D rendering program is easy to use and brings designs to life for your clients.
Cons
This review is for the Austin/San Antonio franchise specifically. There are some questionable practices going on in the accounting department; several designers are owed thousands--some tens of thousands--in unpaid commissions. Speaking with other designers I learned this has been going on for years. Payments are made late and frequently inaccurate. This location is having major issues with installations not being complete as scheduled and then scheduling someone to get out to complete the installation can take anywhere from 1-3 months! Clients get upset and projects are discounted. This all affects your commission. The top sales people get the best leads. At this time there is plenty of work to go around, but if you are a new designer you will get the time sucking small projects for a low compensation, or no leads at all if it's a slow week. They speak a lot about customer service being a priority, but once the sale is made, it's not a priority at all. Disappointing as this is such a great brand and I've heard great things about other locations. If it was taken over by CC corporate, I would consider working here again!
