Pros

No experience required. Teaches you to be professional, Career Development, Room For Advancement, Cover Letter and Resume Building, Interview Training, Great work Experience, Learn a lot of awesome things, Huge growth, meet many new people, Spike is the best, it's basically camping out to go work. Food provided on Spike and Emergencies. Cooking for the crew is an option and is very fun. Experience in all different kinds of outside work such as Cal Trans, Forest Service, Trail Work, Fire Camp, Flood Help, Emergency response, etc. Good way to get your foot in the door for outside jobs. Learn to use a chainsaw, weedeater, pull saw and many other hand tools, you never get borred, always something different to do and always active, bond with your crew and have a sense of pride for your crews hard work, Unforgettable life changing experience

Cons

Hard work, low pay, miserable conditions, Required to Complete Career Development and Conservation Awareness outside of work, unpaid PT required for half an hour after work, If you want to promote you must dedicate many weekends to writing essays, a resume, a cover letter, do a presentation, 48 hours of volunteer time and more, there may be drama on the crew depending
