Too Much Training… - Office Technician California Employment Development Department Employee Review

As a new employee you are basically a “switch board operator.” Very very limited to what you can do to help the unemployeed in this position so you are constantly transferring calls (90% or more calls). Training is overwhelming and you are taught unnecessary information, it could be cut in half if just the necessary basics were taught. My manage had military background so they were unnecessarily stern and did not offer much help. Mentors are available for help, however I never received the help when I needed it.
