Pros
There is a family atmosphere at CSU. It's not flashy, or high-paid, but the health and retirement benefits are great. Staff and Faculty can join the clubs on campus. I was a member of the sailing club, which is one of the happiest times in my life, full of great memories. If you believe that people who work blue-collar jobs should be paid as much as people who work white-collar jobs, then you will fit right in.
Cons
If you believe that skilled work that requires a high level of education, creativity, critical thinking, and innovation should be encouraged through a merit-based payment structure that competes with the rest of the nation, do not apply.
