Pros

Calix provides all of the tools to be successful. If you are self driven you can find all of the answers with the internal resources available. Leadership is very approachable and will help get you the answers or help needed to complete your task.

Cons

There is lots of initiatives and hands in the pot when it comes to your customers. There is a team that sells in cloud which has various levers to bring in depending on the product. As the SSL, you are responsible for the overall territory strategy. It is matrix management style so you have to learn personalities and how everyone operates and then get them onboard with the plan. This can be challenging at times considering everyone has their goals they are trying to obtain.

It is very rewarding to be able to make a difference each in every day in helping service providers grow and optimize their businesses which help to connect people to quality broadband with additional services.

Cons

I honestly don't have any cons about working at Calix.

Pros

Calix has an excellent company culture where employees genuinely support one another. The collaboration across departments is one of its biggest strengths, making it easy to work together toward common goals. The company also offers a great work-life balance and promotes a flexible, respectful work environment that allows employees to be productive while maintaining their personal lives.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive, especially for non-Sales roles, as responsibilities grow. Advancement opportunities can also be limited for certain departments, making it challenging for employees looking for long-term career progression within the company.
