Pros

Caltrol has lots of pros like an Employee Stock Ownership program where every employee earns ownership through their years of service. Years ago, Caltrol had organizational challenges and some average talent (like the 1970s Chicago Bulls), but now Caltrol is on a path to greatness with Steve Babensee at the helm. He's building strong teams and driving the organization towards excellence. Caltrol is drawing the best talent and building an unbeatable organization! This is the place to work if you're looking to be part of something that is impactful, doing meaningful work, and helps you grow professionally.

Cons

Depending on the role, you could be on the road a lot. The company has several business units and depending on your role, you may not interact with all groups. Each BU has it's own processes which can make it tricky to navigate the organization. Each year there are fewer cons as the company strives towards delivering the best results for its customers.

We too are excited about the direction Caltrol is taking towards excellence. Some of our positions do require a lot of time spent traveling, but we try to maintain a good work life balance.

Pros

Standard benefits, hybrid work schedule, in-office company culture is friendly. Work-life balance is good and opportunities to learn during slow times are good. You need to take advantage of it, though.

Cons

Lack of work to do, so layoffs are inevitable at the moment.
