Pros
Compensation and overtime opportunities for hourly workers. Welcoming and exciting initiation process. Free high-quality company swag. Lots of provided lunches, free food and drink, and opportunities to network with others in the company Luxurious working environment The opportunity to wear many hats and add a lot of responsibilities to your resume.
Cons
Little to no opportunity for promotion or role changes. High turnovers. I was constantly hearing about people quitting or being let go. I was told I didn't have access to benefits as a full-time employee for my first year there. My hours worked were altered at times and I wasn't always paid for my overtime work. I was told I would not be receiving any compensation or assistance for a crime committed against me (not by a Cambria employee) on company property during my shift. I was told I'd be taking on extra responsibilities with no extra pay and was told I couldn't add those responsibilities to my resume. Expect to work on weekends, into the middle of the night, etc. At one point in the middle of the night, I was told "Clock out right now. Your next shift is in 7 hours." A company culture full of gossip and bad-mouthing. I was constantly hearing about the goings on of people's personal lives, and felt I couldn't share anything about myself with anyone for fear that rumors would spread. I was made to get into a car with an intoxicated driver to do an errand for clients. It's completely normal to see your fellow employees cry or fight with each other for one reason or another.
