Cons
Cambria offers a PTO benefit plan that will be used for any time off including vacations and illness. California Law os different and mandates 24 hours sick time on top of PTO. To abide by the law, Cambria gave CA employees their sick time but took away 24 hours from PTO by lowering the accrual rate in California. This is unfair since sick days cannot be used for vacation and defeats California’s purpose of implementing this law.
