Pros
Pay is decent. The product Cambria manufacturers is beautiful, durable and American made.
Cons
Where do I even begin? There is no hybrid flexibility, no merit increases or bonuses. For the past few months, there have been 1-3 employees laid off every week. There are no formal announcements or explanations why it is happening; you will simply just notice empty desks throughout your floor and be told it is all "performance based and don't ask questions". Nothing can move forward without the approval of at least 10 people. Even when those people make the decision to proceed, it can be vetoed or completely changed by upper management at any time. It really discredits the hard work and experience those 10+ people have put into the project. CEO and other executives have unrealistic expectations of timelines. They will request that a project that should take a week or two be done in a day. Then, after everyone scrambles to make it happen, decide that it isn't necessary and we should scrap it. Above and beyond the constant bullying and toxicity of the employees (especially those that have been here more than a couple years), the company has outrageous rules such as: No out of office auto reply (you must appear available at ALL times), no voice-mails allowed, no hanging your coat on your chair (appearances), no walking on the grass, no lunch boxes in the refrigerator and more. If you want to work in a place with constant turnover, you do not matter, you are afraid to speak up against anything and love being micromanaged, Cambria is perfect for you. If not, run far FAR away!!!!
