Pros

It's a job. You get paid. Double time pay on Sundays and some holidays. Aside from that, there is not much else.

Cons

Favoritism runs rampant. If you get on the wrong side of the wrong person, whether it's warranted or not, you might as well just quit. Promotions are non-existent. They constantly hire supervisors who have no experience and expect the people who know what they are doing to train them in. Management does not EVER listen to people who work on the floor on how to make improvements, which drops morale across the entire plant. Very high turnover rate. No one wants to stay because the job sucks. The hours are terrible. 12 hour days. Time off requests sometimes get ignored until the very last minute. Have to work holidays. Easter, thanksgiving, christmas. Its a family OWNED business, definitely not family oriented, that is unless you are a manager then you get the day off. Just stay away and you will be happier. Trust me.

Cambria Response

We appreciate you taking the time to post your review. We’d like to encourage you to have a discussion with your current supervisor for ongoing concerns, feedback or ideas. At Cambria, we strive to meet growing product demand with our commitment to the highest-level of quality. We are a 24/7 operation and we need to staff the plant to meet the demand of our product. We believe our success is a truly a team effort, and we encourage managers to both challenge and reward their teams. When we hire and promote employees, we are looking for qualified individuals who have a range of required skills and knowledge. With regards to schedule, we recognize the shifts are long. To balance that, we have structured the schedule so employees work a total of 14-15 days per month. This enables them to spend consistent time away from the work and come back refreshed. In addition, every employee always has two weekends off per month, and employees earn premium pay on weekends, including double pay on Sunday’s. Depending on the schedule, some employees do need to work holidays so the plant remains operational. They are given plenty of advance notice and are compensated double time. Thank you, EVP of Operations

Pros

Pretty and new office space

Cons

Kind of like a cult. Everyone there has the notion that they are better than others. Your internship consists of pretending to look busy for 8 hours.
