At Cambria, we strive to meet growing product demand with our commitment to the highest-level of quality. We are a 24/7 operation and we need to staff the plant to meet the demand of our product. We believe our success is a truly a team effort, and we encourage managers to both challenge and reward their teams. When we hire and promote employees, we are looking for qualified individuals who have a range of required skills and knowledge.
With regards to schedule, we recognize the shifts are long. To balance that, we have structured the schedule so employees work a total of 14-15 days per month. This enables them to spend consistent time away from the work and come back refreshed. In addition, every employee always has two weekends off per month, and employees earn premium pay on weekends, including double pay on Sunday’s. Depending on the schedule, some employees do need to work holidays so the plant remains operational. They are given plenty of advance notice and are compensated double time.
