Cambrick Yard has been a spectacular environment to be consistently challenged and grow in the digital media field. I've been given countless opportunities to try new things and improve my professional skills, always feeling appreciated for my hard work and allowed to make mistakes as I learn. The remote, results-oriented work environment provides a lot of freedom and I've found life-changing mentors in the management here. The Disney content is something I have an interest in, but what I've found most exciting about my job is the fact that the standards are much higher than what you would expect. The digital media environment is constantly changing and I love getting to try to keep up with it (and get ahead of it!) with an ambitious, hard-working, and intelligent team doing it with me.

The environment here can be challenging with the fast pace, high standards, and remote structure. Remote work can be isolating and with performance being results-based, it's really up to the individual to find a balance with work that works for them (which isn't for everyone). Also, if you're looking for a job where you train and then know how to do your job forever, this isn't it. With digital media, there's always gonna be a new "best" to strive for so you constantly have to grow and change with it. A routine doesn't really exist here so if that's what you're looking for, it's probably not a good fit.

Working with fun topics. Many employees are good, talented individuals.

This company has potential, but the culture is in serious need of an overhaul. They’ll admit it’s “not for everyone,” and that’s true. The environment is toxic, and communication often crosses the line into unprofessional, especially in Slack. Mistakes are called out publicly, which creates fear instead of collaboration. Leadership is the biggest issue. There’s a strong brand here, but the culture is driven by ego and control, and new ideas rarely get a fair chance unless they come from the top. Employees are stretched thin, expected to juggle multiple roles, and micromanaged on top of it. You can work hard, sacrifice your personal life, and still feel like you’re constantly on thin ice. The glowing review here doesn’t reflect reality. High turnover, unnecessary chaos, and refusal to adapt are the real story. Professionals expect professionalism, and until leadership makes serious changes, that won’t happen.
