This is a great place to work. And I’ve worked in MANY hospitals (traveler). For a small community hospital, it’s the best. This is why there are so few RN positions open.

Grrr the schedule. The schedule comes out so late (like less than 2 weeks before the new month opens). Everyone hates that. We need self scheduling or have longer schedule periods. I think it could be part of their union contract though so, not sure it will change. Only true complaint

A few decent coworkers bit the best burn out and the bullies rise to the top.

Adolescent psychiatry was an absolute nightmare. The traumatized kids ran the show as the head nurse created chaos by planting favorites and punishing anyone - kid or staff - who stood up to her abuses.
