Hours can be rough for scheduling day to day life outside of work, and aren't always transparent before hire. Communication between departments can be lacking, communication around promotions can be lacking. Expect progress, but slow progress, and follow up on it.

Overall friendly and cooperative environment. Small bonuses are paid in quarterly installments throughout the year and a bigger one comes in December, but only after four years of employment. Benefits are average.

If you enjoy generating meaningless results, by applying inadequate methodology and using obsolete equipment in a chaotic atmosphere, CIL is the place for you! The workload is often times overwhelming and the priorities keep shifting without enough notice and if/when it happens to decrease to a reasonable level, expect an imminent layoff! The culture could be described as "tired", "unmotivated" and very resistant to change.
