Poor Management - Anonymous employee Cambridge Valley Machining Employee Review

Hired me as a Manufacturing Engineer, but never quite gave me direction except to learn a program and a machine in 2 years that I had learned and was operating by myself within 2 weeks. As far as I can tell, I was hired without them even being sure if they needed to hire another manufacturing engineer. They didn't even keep a real budget. Job lasted one month and was laid off because "the company wasn't going in the direction it thought it was". The turnover rate is quite high, skilled workers leaving due to being underpaid and new workers constantly coming in with little experience, which ended up with faulty parts that didn't pass quality inspections.
