Pros

Easy job, somewhat flexible schedules, cute dogs, and money. It's a decent job for teens starting out or part time for college students.

Cons

Ah, where to start... -No room for growth. (Dead end. False promises of raises.) -No benefits. -No bonuses. -Not enough hours. -Split shifts on weekends. -Toxic Environment. (Some employees would scream and swear at eachother.) -Lazy coworkers. (Some employees and managers would sit on their phones all day and not help the others clean. Many times employees would leave work or garbage for the next shift to take care of.) -Heavy favoritism. (Being friends with managers was more important than hard work. Some employees would leave without completeing all their work and when brought up to the manager they say things like "Oh, that's just what xxxx does." Meanwhile they threatened the quiet workers that they'll be written up for a bit of hair being on the floor after mopping.) -Immature coworkers and managers. (Practically everyone there likes to gossip and twist people's words to try and start drama. On one such occasion there was about five employees and two managers in the front lobby talking very badly about a past employee. Not professional at all.) -Overly dominant or aggressive dogs. (Many dogs come in with little to no training.) -Repetitive, boring work. Mainly just staring at dogs and a lot of cleaning. -Stolen tips from grooming dogs. (The managers and front desk people keep all the tips and buy themselves lunch or pizza. I bathed an average of 3-4 dogs for 5 nights a week and never recieved any tips. However, in the same time period there was two or three pizza parties.) -Overprotective dog owners. (Some owners watch the cameras all day.) -Managers are unsupportive of employees. (They focused on negative things no matter how trivial.) -No recognition. -No real structure or set duties. (It was confusing to know where you'll be or what you'll be doing on some days. Most employees get stuck doing the heavier work while others feel entitled to not help. It caused a lot of conflict because some employees were being stuck with more work.) -Uniform policy was only enforced on the newer or less popular employees. -When something went wrong they would blame it on everyone instead of the person responsible so nothing would actually change.

Pros

Zero micromanaging, was trusted to manage grooming room solo, unlimited time off, owners were kind and respectful

Cons

No benefits other than free daycare (which I didn’t use)

Pros

The dogs, their parents, and MOST of the employees.

Cons

Owners only care about money. Prices will go up immediately, and without warning for parents. Hours are cut without enough warning. They expect more without paying for it, or staffing correctly. They butt in to everything, and do things incorrectly without informing the correct people. They are rude and fake. All parents that have met them are horrified that they own this business. Dogs actually dislike them, and this has been witnessed many times by several employees. Not to mention they hire and keep a convicted child molester while there is a minor on staff. They also save parent's credit card info without asking, and will charge it without informing parents. This is not legal in this state. Just awful. 100% do not recommend.
