Great management, great pay, great freedom, great benefits, and great culture are all to be expected at Candelis. It was my dream job and I'd never trade my time there for anything else.

The company is very small and is thus financially unstable. It also takes on various projects that are out of scope and bring hardship upon the company.

The CEO and his executive team are extremely talented and resourceful with over 3 decades of experience in managing technology. The engineering team is a perfect mix of highly knowledgeable, and experienced senior engineers as well as young and bright rising stars. Candelis builds exciting and serious solutions for Medical industry using cutting edge software technologies. The company has a nice combination of technical experience, team-work, and career building opportunities. While most of the US companies were outsourcing their jobs, Candelis committed to building their product in-house and despite all the financial disadvantageous they have done so for many years because they care about their staff and their community.

The work condition can be demanding when you build serious, sensitive products for medical market. It needs undivided attention and desire for perfection. It's intended for those who seek a career building environment and may not work well with those who are looking for easy jobs or a hobby.
