Pros

Smaller-to-mid-size firm, lots of training provided, lots of face-time with managers and executive team. Always tries to grow people and promote from within because they can better "tell the story." Strong commitment to quality and doing absolutely right by the client, means exceptional client satisfaction and repeat business. Excellent place to grow your skills in a great industry (finance/real estate/banking). Interested in and encourage new ideas and better ways to do things, very creative and adaptable firm.

Cons

Not specific to CapCenter, but it's a tough industry overall due to regulatory changes and industry ups-and-downs. They've invested a lot of thought, time, and resources into preparing for the future. They have built a better mousetrap and the loan and real estate deals they offer are legitimate. This firm competes with major players, and being an efficient mid-size firm is a strength there: they save people more money than the next firm, and with better customer service, which means customers love them and they win repeat business. Easy to recommend to friends and family. Employees and employee families are all customers and believe in the product.

Pros

Coworkers were all friendly. Nice office

Cons

Training was mismanaged and scattered. I constantly had to nag my overworked manager about feedback. There was never any follow through from leadership on finalizing my NMLS license (I basically wasted my time studying for 8 hours a day). I was laid off… too many cooks in a 7% interest rate exonomy
