Pros

Incredible colleagues! It was a pleasure to work with them, and I will always treasure our friendship.

Cons

Alright, listen up because I'm only saying this once. You think working here is all sunshine and roses? WRONG. Get ready to kiss your evenings and weekends goodbye. This isn't a 9-to-5 gig. You'll be pulling all-nighters like a college kid cramming for finals, only you won't have pizza and beer to keep you company.

We are sorry to read your perspective of Capco. The nature of consulting means that this is often not a 9-5 job, however if an employee is working long hours for a sustained period of time or needs additional support then they are encouraged to reach out to their Coach or HR Business Partner. As a firm, we strive to balance workload expectations with employee wellbeing. Indeed, Capco’s approach to wellbeing is frequently highlighted as a strength on this forum compared to our competitors. We place a firm focus on wellbeing at Capco and this is supported through our global Wellbeing@Capco group and local initiatives, sponsored by senior leadership.

Pros

Capco has a friendly culture where people like to win together. A solid meritocracy that is expertise focused, and growth oriented with approachable leaders and plenty of opportunities for advancement.

Cons

Employees should be self-motivated (which for me is a plus), but being a smaller company it does lack clear and standard documentation routines. There is no one-size fits all career map, which allows self-starters to succeed and rise quickly in the organization.
