Pros

Wonderful nurses, CNAs, and ancillary staff at CFVMC. Great patients and community. Excellent Case Management department. Physicians in general are excellent clinicians, respectful & kind.

Cons

Poor management. Need to listen to the "frontline" employees more. Poor planning, will bring out some new mandate without warning and then scramble around trying to get all employees compliant in a matter of days. Have witnessed managers/supervisors verbally repremand employees in the hallways, where anyone can overhear.

Clean, good work environment and decent pay, mostly great coworkers and providers, awesome parking for staff.

Cons

Management cares about the wrong issues, like making money over nurse and staff safety. Emotionally and physically straining work in the emergency department.
