Pros

Less work pressure in internal projects Understanding peers Relaxed, chill type of work place or rules.

Cons

Not much growth , compensation, promotion wise, skills wise also you will have to go learn something on your own, hope that skill requirement comes and you are chosen. You will be doing the same thing for years. At least for internal projects this is like this. And for client projects there is work pressure and thorough quality check, as it is anywhere.

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful feedback. We're glad to hear that you appreciate the relaxed and supportive atmosphere within internal projects, as well as the understanding nature of your peers. A low-pressure environment and a strong sense of camaraderie are qualities we value and aim to maintain. However, we also recognize your concerns regarding limited growth opportunities—whether in terms of compensation, promotions, or skill development—particularly within internal projects. It's important to us that all employees feel they are progressing in their careers and gaining meaningful experience. Your point about having to self-learn and hope for the right opportunity to apply new skills is especially noted. While we encourage self-initiative, we understand the need for more structured learning paths and clearer career progression. We're actively working on enhancing our internal mobility, training programs, and project allocation strategies to better support long-term growth. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve these areas—thank you for sharing it so openly.

Cons

I was laid off after spending several months on the bench, with "lack of available projects" cited as the reason. However, another consultant in the same role who was also without an active client engagement was retained. As a woman and racial minority, I could not ignore the disparity in how these decisions appeared to be made. Before my termination, I reported being recorded without my consent and raised concerns about conduct that I believed reflected implicit bias. I was referred to as "URM" instead of by my name or role, encouraged toward race based employee resource groups rather than meaningful career opportunities, and repeatedly advocated for fair project placement while on the bench. My employment ended shortly after I raised these concerns. Following my termination, I pursued the matter through the appropriate internal and legal channels. I provided documentation supporting my concerns and gave the company multiple opportunities to investigate and resolve the issues. Rather than meaningfully addressing the evidence or acknowledging the seriousness of the allegations, the company denied wrongdoing, offered what I viewed as a nominal severance, and declined to accept accountability. Employees deserve confidence that concerns about discrimination and retaliation will be investigated objectively and fairly. My experience left me with the opposite impression.
