Pros

- Competitive wages - Small system so you get to know everyone

Cons

- Very little focus on the inpatient hospital staff. Capital health is expanding and buying outpatient offices but lack staffing and focus on inpatient. - The nurse to patient ratio is 1:5-6 on all floors (medsurg, tele, oncology, surgical) - Nurses get pulled across campuses without any orientation on the other hospital - Very little recognition from upper management or hospital board. - Poor staff retention - Poor treatment of CNAs and Techs. Bonuses are offered to nurses for picking up extra shifts but no incentives for other staff.

Pros

Benefits, some team members, classes, PTO, and understanding family needs.

Cons

No growth, it's not what you know, it's who, favoritism, lots of promises, upper management is the mean girls club, will hire family and friends before long-term workers. Promise raises and advancement, then it's not given; get blackballed into a department. They'd rather lose valuable employees than uplift. Work in a toxic environment with minimal just have to wait out the trash.
