Pros

Organized Department structure. Gained additional process knowledge. Nice product and corporate discounts, including the sample sales. Good people overall that I remain in contact with.

Cons

No one was happy in the store design department, primarily because of a soulless VP. Forget about a work/life balance, because there is none. Keep pushing and forget that everyone that reports to you is a human being instead of a machine. Welcome to MK... After going to the VP to discuss a personal issue, his response was “I only care about the business”. Welcome to MK... Unable to come to work because someone you know is dying? VP’s response, “That’s what you have a laptop for”. Welcome to MK... Then when you leave the company because you want a life again, this VP gives you the cold shoulder like a teenager who just got her cell phone taken away. Awww, poor baby, but you saw it coming, and it’s no one’s fault but your own. So much more, although you get the picture.

Pros

Can’t think of a single thing. I come to work dreading my entire day knowing I have to fake my way through it

Cons

- bosses have weird traits - so much favoritism - not being liked by leadership means HR will manage you out. No questions asked - rude bosses - egos are more important than the greater goal - the good leaders have already jumped ship. We’re left with incompetent people that are here for personal success only.
