Pros

Captain D's has a large menu, which allows for more opportunities to up sell to customers. The food is of a good quality, which lets the staff have good interactions with repeat customers. The corporate office works well with franchisees to help insure a high standard of food quality and restaurant cleanliness. The corporate advisors took pains to notice both good and bad aspects of the franchisees operations.

Cons

Captain D's has been expanding their menu in an attempt to keep up with healthy trends. While this is a good overall strategy, it did cause some added expense to stores to keep food items that don't turn over well. It was often difficult to keep up with multiple menu additions that periodically dropped from corporate.

Schedule flexibility, discount on food

Cons

Indians own the store and they are related to the owners. The relatives are lazy and racist and when you complain, they take the sides of the relative. Also, fish sits under the lamps and they double fry it.
