Thank you for your feedback. We at Car-Part value feedback and consider it a gift when we receive it. I would like to address some of the points you bring up. You mention that we have poor parking. We are somewhat proud of this fact. We have seen exceptional growth and this has reduced the amount of available parking; however, our parking is free, it's just a 3 minute walk from the furthest space to the front door, and there is always a spot for everyone (although some days, just exactly!). You mentioned a "blue collar mentality." We work in an industry made up of thousands of small businesses across North America. Our customers represent what is best in entrepreneurial spirit, hard work, and dedication. Our industry not only recycles millions of tons of metals each year but we also remove hazardous chemicals from entering the environment. In fact, our industry has removed 6.7 million mercury switches alone. Not only that, automotive recycling has removed an estimated 160,000,000 tons of carbon from the environment due to not having to manufacture new auto parts. If that's blue collar, we will own it! You mentioned unhealthy people. Most of our directors and managers started in customer support and other entry level positions. They have raised kids and sent them to college while working at Car-Part. They are leaders in the industry as well as pillars in their community. This does not happen overnight and many of our employees have worked for Car-Part for decades. Unfortunately, this does mean an increased likelihood of age related illness. Where other companies may discard these people, Car-Part values their wisdom and experience. Finally, you mentioned no BA. Car-Part is always seeking out new and better processes. We are actively hiring BAs right now and look forward to this implementation. We constantly evaluate what we are doing well along with what we need to improve. In fact, the need for a BA was a suggestion from one of our team members. In closing: during the interview process, we lay bare all of these issues. We are very candid about our deficiencies. We feel honesty, on both sides of the table, is critical during the selection process. We realize we are not a fit for everyone. If you need bean bag chairs, falafel, and a ping pong table in order to work, you might not be a good fit. If you want to work in a fun, challenging environment with an experienced and dedicated team, check us out. (Just kidding about falafel; I kind of like it!)
