Cons
There are many, but this is the highlight: low, low pay for long hours and little to no direction. Most employees are fresh out of college, and Carahsoft capitalizes on this by paying about $10K - $20K less than other companies for the same work. The turnover is HIGH, so no one really know what they're doing and you are thrown into total chaos. The training for the most part is a joke, and you must rely on yourself to figure out what your actual job is, and what needs to get done, Management is all over the place, and many teams are left lacking leadership and organization. The "perks" are merely thinly-veiled attempts to distract Carahsoft's team of former frat boys and srat queens from the fact that they are being used and abused. The company makes $5 billion a year, yet 85% (guesstimate) of the company makes between $30K & $40K annually... The best part are the MBOs, which are a "monthly bonus," but actually aren't bonuses at all. Turns out that your MBO is built into your salary, but Carahsoft can and will withhold it from you if your manager believes that you haven't met your monthly goals. So, potentially, they can pay you less than the salary you agreed upon. Oh, and there is no HR. So if you are being mistreated by upper management, sexually harassed, paid incorrectly, or anything else terrible you can think of, you are SCREWED. Don't take a job here unless this is your only option.
