Working here destroyed me within 5 months of employment. To start off, the CEO is a psychopath: if you have your cellphone out he will scream at you and potentially throw it across the room or in the trash. The CEO seems very paranoid of young workers and keeps them on a tight leash with tons on micromanagement (my current employer knows people are adults and would never treat anyone this way). The job itself is depressing - you are required to just make phone calls all day and it is not uncommon to be screamed or cussed at by the “customers” as they are not interested in what is being said to them. The pay is a complete joke, no one can afford to live on the starting “salary”. Do not expect a work life balance working here, the set hours are horrendous and on top of that it’ll take you 30 - 60 minutes to leave the parking lot. I was lucky enough to get out of this place before busy season and I am so thankful. During busy season you have to work mandatory 12+ hour work days without a lunch break and also weekends - you also do not get any extra compensation since you are salaried (there is currently a lawsuit against the company regarding this). You do not accrue PTO - you are given a set number of days of vacation each year which is below the standard. If you talk to your coworkers you will get screamed at since you are taking time out of the day to try and enjoy a few minutes instead of making phone calls. The medical and retirement plans are a joke and not worth it - the CEOs brother runs the 401K accounts which is sketchy. Taxes are done a strange way and I was told multiple employees ended up owing thousands at the end of the year in taxes. You do get free alcohol and a “paid company trip” - this trip is only 2 days so it’s not even worth it. I do think working here helped get me my current job as I probably looked destroyed in my interview since I took time off of work to interview. I also cried multiple days driving to work as I plain hated working here. If this is your only option, it is a job, but do not stay here...it is the worst company I have ever worked at.
