Pros
-good experience for resume -lots of resources for learning -health/dental/401k
Cons
-they hire you and train you for renewals and then you get placed on a random team where you do absolutely nothing with renewals so your entire 4+ weeks of training was a waste -you have to BEG for a raise. It is like pulling teeth. Management are trained to not want to pay their employees. -recruiting will sell you on all of these perks in order to get you into the door, but they are all lies. I.e guaranteed bonuses, company trip, gifts for moms, busy season contests to earn more money. -your experience at carahsoft is entirely dependent on which team you get placed on. -when begging for a raise, management uses the excuse of “well you’re technically a renewals rep which falls under a different pay structure so there’s nothing I can do” -this is a $10B company and every Sunday the CEO sends out weekly updates on how we’re doing $ wise, and it is so discouraging knowing how little they pay they’re employees -no room for growth - expectations of working late (sometimes 12+ hour days) with nothing to make up for compensation. - their past structure is sketchy. If you do get a raise it’s all a bonus. Which corporations get to tax higher, while writing off employee bonuses as a tax credit for themselves. -every “nice” thing they do has an alternative motive.
