Pros

Many great, hardworking individuals who truly care about the company. Good benefits, employee activities and overall perception of caring for employees

Cons

Inequities in pay in "favored" departments. President is erratic and doesn't think things through. Opportunities are there for employees if you are in upper management's good graces. If not, good luck. Until there is a change in upper management, proceed with caution.

Excellent compensation & benefits package. Pension plan that is unheard of nowadays. Opportunity to work on challenging/complex projects and develop relationships with industry leaders. Working at Carboline has elevated my career tremendously.

Cons

Carboline is not for the faint of heart. We hire the best and give them the support and freedom to put their skills to work. I’ve recruited friends to work here because I strongly believe in the people and products that make Carboline who we are.

Management was fair, pay could have been better

Overtime opportunities are limited. Additionally, if you leave after providing two weeks' notice, you will not receive pay for all hours worked.
