Pros
-You have the opportunity to learn from seasoned leadership and work alongside intelligent colleagues who respect you. -You aren't just a cog in the wheel here; in a fast-paced start up like CARDFREE, you are an integral part of the team to make the vision happen, and you WILL get to see your ideas turn into a reality if you prove it through. -You have a voice in the product, and with manager buy in, you can change functionality that can affect millions of consumers. -If you work hard, you will be rewarded and move up; proof points matter here, so make sure you're ready to roll your sleeves up and make it happen. I've learned so much here because I worked hard. Mediocrity does not last long here. -CARDFREE treats their employees like adults; there was little micromanagement with my past managers, and I could ALWAYS go to them when I needed support. -Rollercoasters are fun and it's never a dull moment here! -I will never forget the people who have influenced me here; culture can be incredibly family-like. -Humorous and fun atmosphere (if you want it to be!)
Cons
-Sometimes direction is dictated by their large customers, and sometimes that direction will change quickly. People who are resourceful in situations with limited resources will thrive at CARDFREE. -Working with larger vendors is downright frustrating; CARDFREE employees think on their toes, out of the box, and know the ins and outs of mobile and payment integrations; there somehow needs to be a way for upper management to push back to the non-technical customer when necessary.
