Tone deaf about compensation sometimes. Tired of hearing about how culture is more important than compensation - probably true for the management team - not for your onsite staff. Middle management is not always very helpful. The company outgrows itself every 6 months or so it seems and that may leave you helpless when you most need it.
Most of their properties are managed not owned so you are really at the mercy of the property owners, not cardinal. They are also organized by ownership and not region so any job that involves travel means you will be all over the place and never home, not to mention is very inefficient for onsite visits. I personally have not seen anyone from corporate for well over a year.
Maintenance mid level support is sometimes lacking - the company pays lip service to facilities team being important but in terms of opportunities, company dialogs that doesn't seem to be true.
Don't seem to pay for oncall anywhere which is pretty disappointing.
